Bolivar Belicosos Finos (Single Cigar)
Description: The Belicoso Fino combines superior Cuban tobacco and great craftsmanship. The immediate aromas and flavors of wood, coco and toasted tobacco are signatures of the Vuelta Abajo region, a prime area of tobacco cultivation in Cuba. When aged, the cigar becomes smoother and hints of fragrant spice are introduced toward the finale. The strength of this figurado in its youth is full-blown and recommended for seasoned smokers. Thick smoke and lasting taste fills the mouth. The burn is usually even, the combustion impeccable and the construction reliable. From pre-light to nubbing, the Belicosos Finos is unquestionably refined.

About the Brand: Introduced in 1901, the powerful flavour of the Bolivar range is almost as widely know as it's namesake, Simon Bolivar (1783-1830), the celebrated Venezuelan warrior who liberated all or part of what is today Venezuela, Columbia, Peru and Bolivia. The cigar brand was developed by the Jose Rocha Company and manufactured at the El Crepusculo factory, but was later acquired by Menendez, Garcia y Cia.
In 1901, the Rocha Cuban Cigar Company began producing this outstanding brand 'the Bolivar'. Named after the famous General, the Bolivar cigar is often compared to the character of the great General himself strong, powerful and robust in every way. Today, Bolivar cigars are thought to be amongst the strongest, most full-bodied cigars produced in Cuba. The Bolivar cigar is not for the beginner; it's distinctively strong flavour and robust nature draw mostly seasoned Havana aficionados. Oddly, at one time the Rocha Bolivar was famous for offering the world's smallest Cuban cigar, the Delgado, measuring only 1 7/8ths inches by 20 ring gauge.
